Nicollette Sheridan slams cocaine claims

Nicollette Sheridan has slammed claims she snorted cocaine during high school.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress insists former friend Jennifer Young's allegations she used to get high at parties are not true, according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.

Young - daughter of Oscar winner Gig Young - had claimed she and Nicollette used narcotics together as teenagers.

She said: "If you were young and gorgeous in Hollywood you couldn't escape coke.

"The first time Nicollette and I got high was after school."

But Nicollette says the claims are "absolutely untrue."

Meanwhile, the sexy star has revealed love is more important than her career.

The blonde actress, who plays conniving Edie Britt on the hit TV show, recently got engaged to boyfriend Nicklas Soderblom.

The 41-year-old actress revealed: "The most important thing in life is to love and be loved.

"One's career doesn't wrap its loving arms around you at night and I feel so lucky to have such a kind, compassionate and amazing man in my life."
