Nick Lachey's new love

Nick Lachey has a new girlfriend.

The singer, who is currently divorcing Jessica Simpson, has been dating stylist Kim Kardashian for a month, according to reports.

A source told America's People magazine: "They're sweet on each other. It's the beginning stages of a relationship."

The pair have been caught together in public more than once.

They were first spotted getting close at Hollywood nightclub, Shag, on May 15, then again nine days later holding hands as they came out of a screening of 'The Da Vinci Code' at a cinema in the trendy Westwood area of Los Angeles.

Both Nick, 32, and Kardashian have at least one thing in common - failed marriages.

He split from singer-turned-actress Jessica last November (05), while the 25-year-old stylist - and daughter of the late O.J. Simpson trial lawyer Robert Kardashian - divorced her music producer husband Damon Thomas in 2004.

The source added: "Part of the attraction to each other is they have both gone through similar life situations. They developed a bond.

"For Nick to settle down again it will take someone who is a lifelong partner."
