Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are at war throughout the new series of their reality TV show 'The Simple Life'.
The socialites - whose childhood friendship very publicly broke down last year - became household names after the popular programme hit TV screens in 2003.
In the latest series - which airs on cable network, E! from Sunday (04.06.06) - Paris and former best friend Nicole are seen constantly swapping barbed comments.
In one heated exchange, Paris fumes: "We're complete opposites. I'm the nice one, she's the evil one. Some people change when they think they're a star and some people stay the same. I've always been the same and she's definitely not."
Nicole responds: "Nothing happened. You've never lost touch with anyone in your life?"
Meanwhile, Paris has snubbed the Cannes premiere of her new movie, 'National Lampoons' Pledge This!' in a row over nude scenes.
She revealed: "I'm angry that they edited the final cut without my permission.
"I took the part on the assurance I wouldn't do any nudity. I wanted to do something where I'd be taken seriously, and they added a load of scenes with naked girls.
"I was so angry I snubbed my own premiere."
