Netflix has announced a future update that allows users to save money while watching on the move.

A major update will allow Netflix’s users to save on costly data charges when streaming on their contracts.

 

According to Pocket-Lint, the updated app has a new feature that detects the best economical bandwidth to reduce the quality to help save data. The update will also allows you to use a smartphone or a tablet as a second screen while you’re watching Netflix on the telly.

 

Users who opt to get HDR-capable gogglebox will also enjoy HDR quality, which is better than 4K, on some shows.

 

The upgrade will be released for Android and Chromecast with iOS devices.
