ired of feeling cold all the time? Then read on for possible causes and what you can do to feel a bit warmer.
· Lack of exercise – When people feel cold, the last thing that they would like to do is to get up and do some exercise. However, this can actually make you feel worse. In a study conducted by researchers from the University of Georgia, it was found that exercising for just 20 minutes per day can make you feel more energized in less than six weeks.
· Low body weight – People who are underweight lack an adequate amount of body fat that can insulate them from the cold. If you’re not taking as much food as you need, your metabolism may struggle to create enough heat.
· Lack of sleep –If you wake up frequently throughout the night, you will most likely to feel cold because your body is tired.
· Iron deficiency - Healthspan’s Head of Nutrition Rob Hobson says: “Include plenty of iron-rich foods in your diet, such as lean meats, dark green vegetables, pulses and dried fruits, and pair them with foods like citrus fruit high in vitamin C.”
