Kate Moss is due back in Britain within the next 48 hours - to be questioned by police over drug allegations.
The supermodel will be quizzed about the now infamous images of her snorting cocaine.
A friend told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Kate's finally decided to face up to her responsibilities.
"She's realised that as long as she's honest, she has little to fear and will be better off talking to police."
The 32-year-old beauty - who split from drug addicted musician Pete Doherty last year - won't be arrested but will have her lawyer present.
Moss has been residing abroad ever since the images of her taking cocaine appeared last September.
A senior Scotland Yard source confirmed they are to question Moss, saying: "We have made it clear through her representatives that we'll see her at whichever police station she chooses, whenever she chooses. But we want this done sooner rather than later."
Moss is expected to leave the country again immediately after being interviewed.
