Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury duets to be released

Fans of Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury have something to be excited about.

Three previously unheard Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury duets are set for release in a couple of months’ time. Brian May, the Queen guitarist confirmed that he is working on the unreleased material with fellow band mate Roger Taylor and producer William Orbit.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the three previously unheard duets were recorded at Jackson’s home studio in 1983.

May revealed that the duets existed in a blog post. He said that working on these is “exciting, challenging, emotionally taxing, but cool.”

He also left fans a promise that these duets will be released in a couple of months’ time.

He also wrote in the blog post that he got the permission from Jackson estate to release the singer’s recording with Mercury.

Mercury died when he was just 45 years from an Aids-related illness in 1991. Jackson, on the other hand died from a lethal dose of propofol in 2009. He was 50.
