MC Hammer and Psy performed ‘Gangnam Style’ dance routine at AMA’s

Psy and MC Hammer teamed up to close a music industry awards gala.

MC Hammer and Psy performed the dance routine to the recent popular song “Gangnam Style” at the AMA’s. The energetic duo, who both wore harem trousers (or hammer pants), were successful in entertaining the audience.

 

Prior to the show, Psy already told Twitter followers that he was going to close the AMA’s. Dancing to his number one hit song, he was joined by the rapper MC Hammer halfway through the performance after yelling “Stop, Hammertime.”

The performance was enjoyed by the audience, particularly Kerry Washington and Heidi Klum who were reportedly spotted dancing and singing along.

Psy, who tweeted “How lucky I am!! Gonna be the Closing of #AMAs!! #HammerTime.” before getting on stage, has been taking over the pop world with his crazy song.

It has landed him the number one spot in the charts in over 30 countries. His video on YouTube is thought to have been watched 700million times in just a couple of months, according to reports.
