Martin Kemp enters celebrity Big Brother house along with 12 housemates

The Celebrity Big Brother house recently welcomed 13 housemates, including the former EastEnders star Martin Kemp. The star will be sharing the house for three weeks with Page 3 model Rhian Sugden, soap stars Cheryl Fergison, Julie Goodyear, Jasmine Lennard, rapper MC Harvey, Olympic athlete Ashley McKenzie, and several others. 

 

Before he entered the house, Kemp’s son Roman posted a wacky family snap. The photo showed the whole family: Martin, his wife Shirlie Holliman, and his two kids. 

 

Roman, 19, and his sister Harley Moon, 23, admitted that they were initially nervous about their dad’s being part of the famed reality TV show. Sure enough, in the photo, Roman and Harley were pretending to hold Martin back. 

 

Roman wrote on Twitter, “We didn’t want to let him go…But he’ll win it…#cbb”

 

He also added: “I hope you all enjoy watching my dad for the next few weeks, go easy on him, he’s a sensitive lad… #TeamKemp #KingKemp’. 

 

Shortly after the show began, it was revealed that Martin had accidentally brought one of his son’s jackets into the house. This prompted his amused son to tweet: “Martin packed only black and white clothes, and his son’s jacket, which he packed…accidentally. Yeah, nice one Dad… #TeamKemp.”
