Madonna has confirmed she is desperate for another child - but only if it happens naturally.

The 46-year-old singer admitted she is trying for a third baby, with husband Guy Ritchie, but isn't prepared to take drastic action to add to her family.

She said: "Look, everybody has made a big deal about me wanting more children. And yes, it would be nice. But my attitude and my husband's attitude is that if we have more, then we do and if we don't, we don't.

"We have two amazing children. I couldn't feel more blessed than I already do."

The 'Material Girl' singer also says that becoming a mother changed her life.

The blonde babe, who has a daughter Lourdes from a previous relationship, and a son, Rocco, from her marriage to Guy, said that parenthood had transformed her outlook on life and made her less selfish.

She added to Britain's Grazia magazine: "I've certainly changed.

"I never thought this would happen to me. And believe me, the change is really quite recent. I think it really started when I became a mother and that is the first time you really have to learn about putting someone else first.

"I spent 15 years of my life just thinking about everything from the point of view: 'What's in it for me?'"
