Louis: Chenai is "reject"

Louis Walsh has admittedly lost his nice guy image in this year's X Factor after crushing the dreams of countless wannabes with insulting remarks.

But nothing can have prepared us for his latest comment.

The balding talent-spotter has managed to call his own act, Chenai Zinyuku, a "reject".

While he and Simon Cowell were talking to the Daily Star, Louis let slip: "The two acts that were in the final two were rejects. They weren't as good as the other acts."

Simon jumped on his blooper, saying: "If you didn't hear that, Louis called his own act Chenai a reject."

But then again, Louis might have been referring to the fact that Chenai and 4Tune were both in X Factor last year, and were rejected, so to speak, because neither won the final prize.

Simon wasn't prepared to let up on his fellow judge, however, and he managed to embarrass him by showing that he couldn't name any of the members of his own band, Girls Aloud.
