GMTV presenter Lorraine Kelly has reportedly been quizzed by police over allegations that she groped a woman auditioning for a new reality TV show.
The 45-year-old Glasgow-born star denies the claim that she grabbed the breasts of a woman during auditions for ITV's political show, Vote for Me.
The claimant, a mother in her 30s, told the Daily Mirror that she complained to TV bosses but was fobbed off. She then made a formal complaint to police.
A police spokesman said: "We have received an allegation of sexual assault. The report was made on January 17th.
"It relates to an incident in November. The matter is under investigation."
A spokesman for Lorraine vehemently denied the claims, saying: "The auditions for Vote For Me took place in Birmingham last November. The woman was trying to get on the show to get prostitution legalised.
"She flashed her boobs then claimed Lorraine inadvertently brushed against her. It was in a room with 80 people. It's all on camera."
