Corrie's young-at-heart Liz (Beverley Callard) has never had the best luck with men - so you can't blame her for having fun with toy boy Andy.

But Liz gets a nasty shock in Sunday's episode when she meets her boyfriend Andys mum (Kathryn George, who played Hollyoaks Helen Cunningham) in The Rovers.

It turns out that Liz and her potential mother-in-law (well, give it a bit of time) look more than a little similar - in fact 'separated at birth' wouldn't be too far off.

Liz decides to end the budding romance in her inimitable style - by telling Andy her husband is in jail for manslaughter.

Well, that's one way of stopping his calls.
