'Coronation Street' dad Les Battersby finds himself in hot water when he's caught fishing without a licence.
Les, played by Bruce Jones, plans a fun fishing trip for his stepson Chesney after hearing his neighbours boast about their angling exploits.
But the hapless cabbie's delight when he hooks a giant fish of his own is short-lived - because as he turns around he spots a furious fisheries inspector.
As Les stands there proudly with his catch, the investigator claps his hand on his shoulder and asks: "Have you got a permit?"
A show insider told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "These will be hilarious scenes and prove once again Les never gets away with anything.
"Les will be in line for one of his biggest telling offs yet, and will no doubt be out to drown his sorrows once again."
The insider added: "Viewers will be in stitches."
