Corrie's Les and Janice Battersby will celebrate untying the knot with an alcohol fuelled sex-session, it has emerged.
Before the ink is even dry on their divorce papers randy Janice will bed Les, played by Bruce Jones, after a "quiet drink" in the Rovers.
A fish and chips dinner is the romantic aperitif, the pair return to his house for a main course of chilled vodka and then on to dessert.
"Janice really tries to resist his advances, but Les is like a man possessed," a source from the Street told the Daily Star today.
"She is prepared for a crafty kiss and a cuddle, for old time's sake, but in her heart of hearts she doesn't want to go any further."
But her reluctance is to no avail, as post-marital sex is clearly on her former hubby's mind.
"Les is desperate for her to stay the night, though. He pleads with her and in the end she gives in."
The pair end their boozy night as Les takes Janice by the hand and leads her upstairs as the credits roll.
"Les has discovered that Cilla Brown has cheated on him . . . it dawns on him that he is still in love with [Janice]."
