The former hooker, played by Brooke Kinsella, 20, has been cut from the cast of the BBC soap, reports indicate.

Her six-figure salary is weighing on the show and Brooke will not have it renewed - according to The Sun this morning.

The actress hit the big time when her character snogged Zoe Slater over the New Year.

Kelly is set to exit the square amidst high drama - but there will be a window open for her to return, according to the daily.

'Bosses have big plans for Zoe Slater and want her to get involved with some other characters,' the Sun quotes a show insider as saying.

'Brooke was told last week her contract will not be renewed,' he added.

She joined the soap in 2001 - when she took Zoe under her wing. The Sun reckons her contract is worth 100,000.
