Walford's bolshiest broad is back on the Square next week when Kat Moon reappears after months away from home.
Grandmother Big Mo is the first to spot the feisty former barmaid, played by Jessie Wallace, in the local lock-up as she pays a visit to a friend.
Mo, played by Laila Morse, is determined to find out what happened to Kat and on finding out that she has been released from jail, goes in search of her.
She turns up to find her granddaughter living in a dump of a flat with low-life boyfriend Graham - and the pair are having an almighty row.
Mo manages to get Kat to leave her new man but the headstrong brunette refuses to go back to the Slater household under such humiliating circumstances.
However, when someone steals all her cash from her hostel room, Kat realises that she has no choice but to return home - a pitiful sight with all her stuff in a bin bag.
Her dramatic return then becomes a major drama when she realises her estranged husband, Alfie, is on the verge of getting together with her sister Little Mo.
