While attending a parade on Saint Patrick’s Day on Sunday, Kate Middleton has revealed to a soldier she is hoping to give birth to a baby boy, but that Prince William wants a girl, it has emerged.
And this wasn’t the only slip-up to have been picked up on by media reports it seems, as the Duchess also seemed to have got her heal caught in a grate while attending the event in Hampshire.
Hundreds of soldiers from the 1st Battalion Irish Guards were present on the day, a regiment that the Prince belongs to.
The soon-to-be mother, who is around five months pregnant, also gave shamrocks to guards to mark Saint Patrick’s Day. She wore a green coat and a black hat in support of the occasion.
News on the royal pregnancy came late last year after the Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to hospital following a severe case of morning sickness.
Kate’s not the only royal family member to have made a visit to King Edward VII hospital in London recently though, as Queen Elizabeth II was also admitted there earlier this month following concerns over the symptoms of gastroenteritis.
