I'm a Celebrity quitter Brian Harvey plans to propose to model girlfriend Emma B after storming out of the jungle.

The hotheaded star quit I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! after a row with fellow jungle mate Janet Street-Porter over his flatulence.

The spat was sparked when the fiery singer broke wind close to the journalist as she cooked dinner for members of the celebrity jungle camp.

Reunited with his girlfriend after leaving the jungle, the former East 17 star spoke of his plans to wed 24-year-old Emma.

"Emma has stood by me through so much. I decided it was time to make things more permanent between us," he told the Daily Star.

"I recently bought her a huge sparkler, but I didn't stage any fancy proposal. Now I am going to do it the old fashioned way by asking her dad for her hand in marriage."

Describing the couple's steamy reunion at a hotel following Brian's departure from the jungle camp, Emma told The Sun newspaper: "We fell into each other's arms and held on tight. Brian wouldn't let me go."

The pair later revealed their plans to hold a fairytale wedding - and try for a baby.

Harvey's life with Emma is set to be happier than the days he spent with fellow celebrities in the jungle show.

The flatulance row that drove the star out of the jungle was the straw that broke the camel's back for Harvey, who complained bitterly about being plagued by flies during his time in the camp.

His hatred of the flying insects grew stronger following Wednesday's Bushtucker Trial, when the reluctant jungle resident was covered in a swarm of flies and forced to eat infested pies.

The singer went into the jungle shortly after learning that his grandmother, who raised him, had died.

Meanwhile, former All Saint singer Natalie Appleton and model Sophie Anderton are preparing to take part in the next Bushtucker Trial.
