You might have expected I'm a Celebrity stars Katie Price and Peter Andre to have one hell of a wedding night, if their previous claims of all-night romps and insatiable sexual appetites are anything to go by.

But the truth is very different. Katie, aka Jordan, told the Daily Star that the happy couple were starving after their wedding cake went missing.

"So on our wedding night, we did not consummate the marriage," she said.

"We ended up in bed at three am eating crisp sandwiches with my mum and brother."

Apparently their cake was thrown away after the party, representing one of doubtless many wasteful luxuries at the extravagant do.

But for those worried that the tabloid duo aren't living up to their steamy reputation, rest assured that their honeymoon in the Maldives was a sizzling affair.

And when Katie said that two children are enough for now, Peter added: "We can have fun practising."
