Jessica Simpson allegedly spent the night with Maroon 5 star Adam Levine - sparking rumours the pair are dating.

The sexy star, who is currently divorcing husband Nick Lachey, was out partying with actress Kirsten Dunst at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont hotel when she reportedly snuck off to the singer's room.

According to America's New York Post newspaper, Simpson - who has been repeatedly linked to the heartthrob musician - wasn't seen leaving Levine's room until the next morning.

Earlier this month, Simpson was said to have shunned Levine's romantic advances.

The singer-turned-actress was seen fleeing the same Hollywood hotel after he approached her and pal Eva Mendes, who were out drinking together.

A source revealed at the time: "He came running over to Jessica and Eva, pulled up a chair and butted into their conversation. But they soon left."
