Jeremy Clarkson's wife files for divorce after 21 years of marriage

Jeremy Clarkson’s wife has filed for divorce after 21 years of marriage and following reports of alleged affairs, as confirmed by sources to the Daily Mail. 

 

The pair had been living apart for three years but exerted a 'conscious effort' to stay together. In fact, just two months ago, they were photographed together. 

 

However, the source added that Mrs Clarkson went to Majorca last month together with her best friend to celebrate the end of her marriage. 

 

'Apparently Francie had a really jolly boozy time because she is finally getting a divorce from Jeremy and she was celebrating that,' the source added.

 

'All her friends have been waiting for years for her to do it and she finally has.'

 

Meanwhile, a source close to Clarkson has denied that he had divorced. However, when asked if he was “getting a divorce”, the source replied:  'Getting [divorced] and divorced are different.'

 

In 2011, Clarkson was accused of having an affair with events organiser Philippa Sage while he was touring Australia, South Africa, and Norway. In 2012, he was seen passionately kissing television producer Elaine Bedell in a car. 

 

The news is bad timing for Clarkson who is on his 'last warning' from the BBC after a new racism scandal rocked his reputation.
