Michael Jackson is reportedly planning to quit America for a secret life abroad if he wins his child abuse trial.
The eccentric star - whose molestation court case is set to end next week - is making serious plans to leave his homeland instantly, if he is found innocent, according to insiders.
Jackson, who earlier this week allegedly sold his Neverland Ranch for $35millionUS and has always promised to do a world tour if cleared of the charges, is believed to want to move to Europe or Africa where he will lie low until the resulting publicity of the trial blows over.
US columnist Roger Friedman revealed to America's Fox News TV: "Those in the know tell me Jackson is already planning an almost instant move.
"Whether it's temporary or permanent is up in the air, but Jackson knows he has to take a breather from America if he wants to rehabilitate his career. My money is on London or Paris but some say Africa."
Earlier this week, Jackson reportedly sold his beloved Neverland to a mystery buyer as his debts spiralled out of control.
Jackson denies all charges against him.
