Hannah Waterman, EastEnders' Laura Beale, has claimed that she was poked by a banana during love scenes in the soap.

Hannah, 28, told Closer Magazine that Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian, smuggled the fruity fruit into bed during some scenes.

"A couple of times he smuggled a banana under the duvet," she revealed.

"Not to stuff down Ian Beale's Y fronts, I hasten to add, but to nudge me gently in the back. You've never seen me leap out of bed so fast."

Hannah is set to leave Albert Square next month, but she told Closer she would have liked to have stayed on long enough to lock lips with the two Dennises.

She said Leslie Grantham, who plays Dennis Watts, has got that "dangerous element that's very sexy in an older man."

She added that Nigel Harman, who plays Dennis Rickman, also tickles her fancy.

"I would have loved to have got stuck into him," she added.
