Homer Simpson’s alcoholic beverage, Duff beer, is no longer exclusive to Springfield. The 20th Century Fox has announced that the brew will become available in Chile this week and that it will make its way across the globe soon.
Jeffrey Godsick, president of Fox's consumer products division, discussed the company's aims.
He said: “Once you see enough piracy, you’re faced with two choices. One is deciding to fight it, and the other is deciding to go out [into the market] with it.”
He added: “It’s a premium lager. It’s got a very good balance of flavour and refreshment to it. It’s fairly deep golden in color.
“It’s got a hint of fruit to it. It’s got a caramel aromatic to it."
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Harry Shearer, the voice behind Mr Burns, Ned Flanders, Waylon Smithers, and Principle Skinner, will be back on the next season after finally reaching a deal with the bosses.
