The crew of BBC One's popular soap opera, EastEnders, were forced to stop filming when an intruder broke into the studio.
After scaling a 12ft wall the man made his way to the EastEnders set and interrupted a scene between leading characters Alfie Moon and Kat Slater.
The intruder then proceeded to announce that he was there for acting lessons.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Bosses are now asking how a man could not only break into the set but walk straight into a scene without being spotted by security."
The show's press office has refused to comment on the incident but a 34-year old man is set to appear in court.
It is likely security will be reviewed following the incident at the Albert Square studio in Elstree, Hertfordshire.
