'Hex' star's Hartnett loss

'Hex' star Jemima Rooper has revealed she could have become Josh Hartnett's new girlfriend - if Scarlett Johansson hadn't beaten her to it.

The 23-year-old sci-fi star got close to the Hollywood heartthrob when the pair were filming 'Black Dahlia', and Jemima admits she was smitten with the actor.

But the actress says any chance she might have had with the star were ruined once Scarlett started filming her part in the movie - and stole his heart.

Jemima is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Josh is absolutely gorgeous - and very nice. I definitely fancied him and I think he fancied me.

"But then Scarlett turned up. It could have been me - I'm gutted!"

Jemima also revealed she's been approached by several women since playing lesbian Thelma in the Sky One show, which is currently in its second series.
