Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has reportedly turned down the chance of a TV makeover.

The foul-mouthed star of Hell's Kitchen is happy with the way he looks and doesn't need a new image.

Producers of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy had hoped to sign up the colourful cook for their next series.

"I'm happy with my look and style," the 37-year-old told the Sun newspaper. "I've a huge gay following so must be doing something right."

Ramsay's profile has rocketed since Hell's Kitchen, the ITV show that saw him managing a group of celebrities as they tried to run a busy London restaurant.

Following a week of shouting, fighting, tears and tantrums, former Brookside star Jennifer Ellison emerged as the winner.
