A stabbing at a Manchester house has led to a 13-year-old girl being in a critical condition in hospital and two men have died.
Police found the body of a 41-year-old man on Sunday, 28th July, after being called to the house in Moston. He is understood to be girl’s father.
The second man, aged 34, who is suspected of killing the 41-year-old, died in the early hours of Monday morning, 29th July, after driving a hijacked vehicle into a pub, police have said. The 34-year-old man died in hospital.
Detective Superintendent Simon Barraclough said: "We are in the very early stages of our inquiries and are piecing together the circumstances that led to two men losing their lives and a 13-year-old girl fighting for her life in hospital.
"Obviously the community will be shocked as to what has happened but we can say we do not believe anyone else was involved and are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident. However, a police presence will remain in the area to offer reassurance and answer any concerns residents may have."
