Gina Gershon will play Donatella in “House of Versaceâ€
Lifetime has announced that Gina Gershon will star as Donatella Versace in House of Versace.

Lifetime will be airing two films this October about Donatella Versace and her family’s legendary fashion house. On October 5th, the fictionalised biopic House of Versace will be aired and playing the role of Donatella is actress Gina Gershon.
This is based on the book House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder, and Survival by Deborah Ball. The film features Donatella’s journey to continue the legacy of her late brother Gianni after he died in 1997.
Lifetime announced the TV film last week ahead of the premiere in October as reported by Zap2It.
Other cast members include Enrico Colantoni who will play as Giannie Versace, Colm Feore (Santo Versace), and Raquel Welch who will play Donatella’s Aunt Lucia.
The film will be followed by one-hour documentary Versace: Beyond the Headlines which is about Gianni Versace’ life, his rise to fame, and untimely death.
