Undoubtedly, her most revered work is the Bill Murray/Scarlett Johansson mid-life crisis dramedy ‘Lost in Translation’.

Its epic critical and commercial success made her become the first American woman to be nominated for a Best Director Oscar, and went on to win the Best Original Screenplay at the ceremony.
