London has proclaimed that it has no real plans for what will happen after the Olympics leave town. Rumours suggest that the main arena (pictured) will be bought out by a football club as its home grounds.
However, so far this is mere speculation. The city will be building new venues at a spiralling cost to the tax payer but insists there will be an 'Olympic Legacy' left behind. The proposed Olympic Village will cost £5.3 billion and aims to provide residential support. But which previous hosts may they be inspired by?
