Forget iris scans and fingerprint detectors, scientists are developing a new method of identifying people – their noses.
Researchers at Bath University found that analysing nose according to six types was a reliable way of identifying people and was often faster than with conventional biometric techniques, such as whole face recognition.
They are hoping to develop the concept further to use as a biometric to help catch criminals.
But what shape is your nose and what does it say about you? Take a look to see if your hooter is trustworthy or if your conk makes you a likely crook.
