The adaptation of the mega-cult graphic novel has been turned into a multi-layered action film and Wilson's character, Dan Dreiberg or the Nite Owl, is memorable and quirky. He, as well as Dr Manhattan, is desperately in love with Silk Spectre (Carla Gugino).
