Espresso
The brew is a blend of rare Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and Kopi Luwak - a south-east Asian bean collected from civet cat droppings - that sells for over 300 a kilo.
Created by expert David Cooper, the blend is on sale at Peter Jones department store in London for 50 per (small) cup. Proceeds of the most expensive cup of coffee in the world go to the MacMillan Cancer Trust.
Kopi Luwak coffee is made from partially digested beans recovered from the droppings of the civet cat, a native of Indonesia. The cats are said to pick the ripest coffee berries but only digest the flesh of the fruit leaving the lucky coffee bean collectors' work nicely cut out for them.
