This grand design is located in Darmstadt and built by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, the famous Austrian architect and painter. The name translates as the Forest Spiral.

Completed in 2000, it boasts 105 apartments, wrapping around a landscaped courtyard with a running stream. Also, no two windows are the same!
