Eden is probably best known for housing the market town of Penrith - home of the beautiful ruin of Penrith castle. The area is surrounded with some of the best walking locations in Britain, thanks to its expansive countryside. But it may not stay quiet for long, as Penrith could see a new leisure complex by 2010.
