8. Sepp Blatter
The President of FIFA made one comment in 2008 that caused outrage. It happened when Real Madrid tried to lure Cristiano Ronaldo to their club and he signalled a desire to leave Manchester United. But United declined his request as was contracted until 2012. Blatter then said that "Manchester United were effectively indulging in 'modern slavery' by refusing their Portuguese winger a transfer to Real Madrid."
