Where/When: Kirkpinar, Turkey: end of June/beginning of July

No, this isn't the aftermath of an itching powder explosion, this is wrestling - Turkish-style. In the 14th century two warriors fighting before the Ottoman Sultan sparred so vigorously that they both died of exhaustion. In honour of this devotion, the city of Kirkpinar has held this tournament ever since.
