Leeds 4 Liverpool 3
2000
The Reds from Anfield were leading within two minutes after Hypia converted Berger's cross. German international Ziege then doubled Liverpool's lead on 16 minutes. Leeds struck back through Mark Viduka 10 minutes later and a minute into the second half the burly Aussie striker had equalised heading in Kelly's cross.
Liverpool rallied to retake the league through Smicer after an hour but Viduka struck again to restore parity 15 minutes later. Viduka then ensured his place in history collecting the ball on the edge of the box and chipping the Liverpool keeper to win the game with his amazing four goal haul.
