According to reports, Michael was plagued with financial problems having sold his Neverland ranch for around $37m. Many of his personal items that were within were auctioned.
However Michael filled a lawsuit against his possessions being sold claiming that these items are "priceless and irreplaceable" and describes the attempt to sell them as "malicious, fraudulent, extreme, outrageous and without any legal justification whatsoever." It was MJJ Productions who authorised the auction and removal of these items that include his iconic jewelled glove and an American Music Awards for 'Thriller'.
