The couple married in 1993, three weeks after they met. About nine months after they appeared in Hello! they announced their separation and got divorced.

The actress also fell foul of the Hello! curse after she appeared in the magazine with fiancé Kiefer Sutherland (1991). This was just weeks before she broke off their engagement.
