In a similar storyline, months of drawn out tantrums and numerous "will she, won't she?" moments, in true Enders volatility, Ronnie discovered Danielle was the daughter she had given up for adoption as a baby.

Her father, evil Archie Mitchell, had told Ronnie her baby had died, so when Danielle finally blurt out she was her mother, Ronnie didn't believe her and cast her daughter out in front of a stack load of guests for Peggy and Archie's wedding reception. But after the clever placement of a locket the truth was revealed.

However, this was no happy ending, and in a Tiffany-esque conclusion, a distraught Danielle was mown down, just as she was finally being greeted by her biological mother.
