The humble Wispa bar was a victim of Cadbury's pointless rebranding of many of their favourite products in 2003, renaming it 'Dairy Milk Bubbly'.
This campaign finished off the Wispa, but it was not the final nail in the coffin for the beloved chocolate bar. Fans campaigned for its return forcing Cadbury to perform a test run, and a whopping 20 million Wispas sold within seven weeks!
Following the undisputable success of the trial, the decision was officially made to bring it back for good and the Wispa bar people knew and loved returned to stores in October 2008.
The Wispa bar made it out alive, but which other classic pieces of confectionary have proved less lucky and are still due a chocolaty rebirth?
