Dating back as far as 1961 the Capri truly found its success with the Mk1 facelift, swiftly selling by the garage full as it offered sporty looks, speed and realistic family prices. Despite this or perhaps because of it, it was never as respected as the Mustang but the vehicle still filled a gap in the British market.
