Britney launched her comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas with a clumsy performance of her new single 'Gimme More'.

Stripping down to just her smalls, she performed a raunchy dance routine and lip-synched to her new song with a team of back-up dancers.

Nekesa Mumbi from the Associated Press slated the show saying: "She lazily walked through her dance moves with little enthusiasm. It appeared she had forgotten the entire art of lip-synching; and, perhaps most unforgivable given her once taut frame, she looked embarrassingly out of shape."
