Oscar winning actor may be famous for his compelling film performances that have seen him go from subtle brilliance ('The Remains of the Day') to scenary-munching madness ('Dracula'), but few realise that he has also flexed his artistic muscles with almost equal success.
An exhibition of his paintings are doing the rounds of the arts circuit with prices ranging from £1,850 to £26,800 with all profits going to charity. Hopkins, who is also an accomplished pianist, summed up his work as: "my vision of life, an affirmation of my state of mind, full of vibrancy and being."
