Beyonc and rapper Jay welcomed their first child on 7 January - a little girl called Blue Ivy.

Their daughter's name was confirmed by the couple's close friend Gwyneth Paltrow, who tweeted:

"Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already."

The 30-year-old singer gave birth by Caesarean section at Lennox Hill hospital in New York, with Jay - real name Shawn Carter - by her side.
