The daytime TV star split from her husband after seven years. Her spokesman confirmed: "The couple have mutually agreed to separate. In the interest of their boys, they stay friends and will continue to be involved in their upbringing."

The pair married in 2001 and have two boys, Roman and Valentino Luca.
