The teenage actor has been sacked from the Yorkshire soap after pleading guilty to GBH charges.

Tittensor, who has been in the soap since 2003, admitted that he fractured the jaw of another teenager on a night out in Rochdale. ITV said that although the actor regretted the incident, they could not condone his actions.

A spokesperson from the soap said: "As Luke has pleaded guilty to the serious charge of GBH and we cannot condone criminal behaviour, we have met with Luke and his agent to explain that his contract with Emmerdale will be terminated. Luke regrets his behaviour and understands this situation."
